Faculty Fellowships

The Faculty Fellowship program provides teaching and research (T&R) staff the opportunity to be situated in the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH) for one semester to focus on a defined research project in a research-intensive environment, thereby assisting them in the development of their larger research program. Fellows are provided with teaching relief for a semester in order to achieve this aim.

Faculty Fellows are expected to spend a major portion of their Fellowship located within the Institute and to make a significant contribution to the Institute’s research community. Applications are invited from every school within the Faculty of Arts. At least one grant per year is allocated to an Early Career Researcher.

These fellowships are available to full-time staff in the Faculty of Arts at The University of Queensland.

The Faculty Research Office encourages scholars who are interested in applying for the 2020 round to visit the program's SharePoint site for further details. Applications should be submitted via email to research@hass.uq.edu.au by 30 August 2019.
