BA(Hons) (UCD), MA(magna cum laude) (TIU), PhD (UQ)

James C. Ungureanu has a BA in Religious Studies and Philosophy from the University of California-Davis, where he graduated in 2008. He also has a MA in Church History from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a PhD in Studies in Religion from University of Queensland. He is Honorary Research Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at University of Queensland and Historian in Residence in the George L. Mosse Program in History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. An historian of science and religion, his research is mostly focused on nineteenth-century religious thought. He resides in Madison, Wisconsin with his wife and two children.
