IASH's Dr Nicholas Heron will deliver the 2019 Dante Biennial Lecture, "Primo Levi's Testimony."

To commemorate the centenary of Primo Levi’s birth, this talk will consider his important reflections on the structure of testimony, with specific reference to the two great works that bookend his writing career: Se questo è un uomo (1947) and I sommersi e i salvati (1986).
The Biennial Dante Lecture is a special event on the Brisbane Dante Alighieri Society’s calendar, to honour il sommo poeta through a lecture on a literary topic.
