Peter Harrison elected to Oxford’s Bampton Lectureship

IASH Director, Prof. Peter Harrison, has been invited by the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford to deliver the Bampton Lectures for the year 2019. This prestigious lecture series has been offered continuously since 1780, usually in the historic University Church of St Mary’s in the centre of Oxford. Prof. Harrison will offer a series of eight lectures on the topic of ‘Science and the Supernatural’.
