IASH/UQ Development Fellowships, Postdoctoral Level, Expressions of Interest due 15 August 2017

4 Aug 2017

The University of Queensland has now opened its Development Fellowships scheme for applicants across all academic disciplines. By investing in the best and brightest talent across all career levels, the UQ Development Fellowships facilitate a trajectory of continued excellence and impact in research, teaching and service at UQ. The 2018 round of the Fellowship scheme offers two pathways, one for postdoctoral research fellows and one for senior researchers.

The Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities invites expressions of interest from early career researchers (normally within 5 years of the award of a PhD) interested in undertaking a 3 year postdoctoral fellowship. The Institute is dedicated to high level research in a range of humanities disciplines with research programmes focused upon Intellectual and Literary History, Critical and Cultural Studies, Science and Society, and the History of Emotions. The links below provide further details on our research interests, current projects, and researchers in each of these areas:

Intellectual and Literary History
Critical and Cultural Studies
Science and Secularization
History of Emotions

We are seeking outstanding candidates for Postdoctoral Fellows in any of these research areas. In the first instance, potential candidates should submit a CV accompanied by a one page description of the project they hope to work on, in a single Word or .pdf file, to iash.ea@uq.edu.au with the subject line "UQ Development Fellowships." In order to provide substantive institutional support for the strongest applications, the closing date for expressions of interest is 15 August 2017.
