IASH welcomes Dr Nina Li

IASH would like to welcome Dr Nina Li, who took up the position of Lecturer in Cultural Studies on 1 February. Nina was most recently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Asian Research Institute at the National University of Singapore, following upon completion of her Doctorate in Communications and Media at the Institute of Communications Research at the University of Illinois.  She has published in international journals, and is an accomplished scholar and teacher, winning a number of awards, fellowships, and grants. Nina is currently developing several new research initiatives, and she maintains interests in: Digital Culture; Global Media and Cultural Industries; Media and Cultural Policy; Media History and Political Economy; Popular Culture; Television Studies; Gender and/in Popular Media; and China Studies.
